This is a kit that requires soldering. All parts required to build a functioning controller card are included. The kit even includes the solder! You supply additional parts such as power cords and enclosure. There are 12 controller for Christmas 2010. The first one took 7 hours to complete. Now I can get these done less then 2 hours. You can purchase them from Light-O-Rama
CTB16PC Kit

After completing the pc kit. I then work on putting them into a cable box purchased from The Broadband Store. To save cost I purchase from Menards regular 6' extension cords for 77 cents, cut the plugs off and spade them to the control board.

This is what the finished kit looks like.
This is the software that controls all the lights. Each
channel has to be sequenced. One channel controls a set of
lights. Each window on our house has 4 channels
controlling each color(RED,GREEN,BLUE CLEAR) For example
2009 Christmas display had 128 channels. This year we will
have 192 channels. It takes about 40 hours of work
to finish one song. All year long I work on the sequences.
